Open Valdboka to the Today screen and tap "Start hunting day." The standing lineup you set up in Team fills in who is out, their post and who runs the dog; adjust anyone before or after starting.
Tap "Elg felt" on Today. Pick the category against the quota, the shooter (their post fills in automatically), antler points for a bull, jaw number and notes, then save. Add the slaktevekt later once the animal is weighed.
Go to the Quota tab and tap "Enter permit." Enter the numbers from the vald's permit for kalv, ungdyr, eldre ku and eldre okse; Valdboka tracks felled against remaining for each.
No. Valdboka is not connected to Hjorteviltregisteret and cannot submit anything on your behalf. The Report tab prepares your season's numbers and lets you copy or export them, and a page inside the app opens Hjorteviltregisteret's own site so you can submit there yourself.
Valdboka is built specifically around the Norwegian elgjakt — its permit categories, sett elg reporting and season structure follow how Norwegian vald and jaktlag work.
Valdboka stores everything locally on your device with no account or backup service. Reinstalling the app or switching devices without a manual backup will not carry your data over.
